Microsite of Colombian spatial data infraestructure. A step towards the consolidation of risk and emergency node

This article tries to make a first approximation to the interests that frame ICDE communication between the head of sector UNGRD risk and emergency (Unit National Risk and Disaster Management) and the entities that constitute it, setting the significance and advantages offered by Information Technology and the Communication (ICT) in an appropriate context and benefits for society in general (whether producers or consumers of GIS) through the microsite and emergency risk ICDE portal.
Geographic information is a fundamental influence on decision making, hence the need to guarantee to the field of risk and emergency a right and a duty under the Colombian Spatial Data Infrastructure (ICDE) through the news medias, internal and external communications, social networking, chatting and so on., seeking to develop communication and teamwork between the parties resulting in more effective and collaborative technology associated with these dynamics and can be the first progress toward what is called an Infrastructure Spatial Data UNGRD total binding and the relevant entities and emergency risk sector, giving the ICDE together with the whole sector and receptive communicative role, a leadership role for the construction of news and information their own space, allowing this dynamic better access to current issues and general information for decision-making.
